Open Access & Licensing

Origini provides immediate open access to all its published content. All articles are freely accessible online with no charges, no embargo period, and no registration required.

Open access to the journal’s content is permanently ensured through the official journal website and through the Torrossa Open platform, which supports the dissemination and consultation of the journal in open access form. 

All articles published in Origini are released under the Creative Commons Attribution – NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) license. This license allows anyone to share (copy and redistribute) and adapt (remix, transform, and build upon) the content for non-commercial purposes, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original authors.

Authors retain the copyright of their works and grant the journal the right to publish them under the terms of the CC BY-NC 4.0 license.

Origini does not charge any article processing charges (APCs) and does not require submission fees.

Self-archiving / Repository policy

Authors are allowed to deposit the submitted version, the author accepted manuscript (AAM), and the published version (Version of Record) of their articles in institutional or other repositories of their choice, without any embargo.

Authors are encouraged to acknowledge the original publication in Origini.

All deposited versions must be distributed in accordance with the Creative Commons Attribution–NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) license under which the journal publishes its content.
