Originality and Copyright
Authors guarantee that submitted articles are original, have not been published previously, and that texts offered for publication are in no way an infringement of existing copyright laws. Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to reproduce any copyrighted material included in their articles. The authors should ensure that they have written entirely original works. If authors have used the work and/or words of others, this must be appropriately cited or quoted. Authors guarantee that plagiarism has been avoided, and that relevant Authors’ texts have been appropriately quoted, and not paraphrased. Furthermore, Authors recognize that all appropriate co-authors have been included in the paper, without unduly omissions.

Authors agree to hold the Editor-in-Chief and the Publisher free from any claim, action or proceeding occasioned to them in consequence of any breach of the warranties mentioned above.

The Publisher has the exclusive rights on the entire volumes. The Authors retain the copyright of their own contributions and have the right to reproduce reworked excerpts of their articles elsewhere, acknowledging Origini as the place of first publication.

Scientific Integrity
Research to be published in Origini must comply with international, national and/or institutional standards for research reporting. This requirement applies particularly to research involving destructive sampling, the study of human remains, research on specific communities, and the publication of materials with unprovenanced or dubious origin. When requested by local authorities, human communities, or individuals, legally enforced permissions must be appropriately held by the Authors. UNESCO, ICOM, EAA and WAC serve as general reference institutions for ethical guidelines, which will be applied on a case-by-case basis as deemed appropriate by the Editorial Board.

Open Access Policy
Authors are permitted to upload the submitted, accepted (Author Accepted Manuscript), or published version (Version of Record) of their articles to institutional or other repositories of their choice, with no embargo period.

Submission Agreement
By submitting a manuscript, authors automatically agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this Ethics section.

Licence
All articles published in Origini are distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution–NonCommercial 4.0 International Licence (CC BY-NC 4.0).

Publication Fees
Origini does not charge any fees for the publication of articles. One free copy of the publication per manuscript shall be sent, with delivery duties paid, to an address specified by the Author(s). Each contributor will also receive a PDF copy of their contribution.
